The Mordigans is a rock band that diversifies itself by writing songs in different styles like alternative, country, hard rock, with a homegrown vibe. the Mordigan's offer a variety of covers that reflect each band members musical influence. They focus on the '90s to 2024 hit songs, but also take pride in performing timeless classics that transcend generations.
The Mordigans strive to be unique in that we offer a bit of everything, taking every demographic into consideration. We want everyone to enjoy our covers and originals that are truly one of a kind, out of this world.

We're based out of Tampa Bay, FL. We write, record, rehearse, and perform in the Bay region. The band members have been playing in the area for 20 years in bands such as Slingshot Robot, Circle of Thieves, Saints and Sinner, Winter Rose, and 18DAYS.

doug bailey
Doug was raised in western pennsylvania, currently resides in inverness, FL.doug started writing songs in high school, attended several music writing workshops and seminars during that time. he now likes to write catchy hooks and try's to make every song sound diverse from each other. as the lead singer and songwriter for the band slingshot robot,he wrote 2 albums and played the hard rock casino for 3 years and several venues all throughout Florida doug has had the honor of of opening for headlining acts such as saliva,three doors down, quiet riot,trapt,12 stones,smile empty soul,tantric and hed pe.
currently doug has written a new album for his band the Mordigans with a more rock feel. the singles "vegas", "head out west" and "Life" has been directly influenced by his life and continue's his life's work writing music and performing straight from the heart
doug's influences are bands like The clarks, houndmouth and third eye blind

Al was raised in Patterson new jersey, a son of a carpenter. when he was young he was turned on to kiss buy a friend and "when i saw on hundred thousand years that day i knew right then and there that i wanted to be play the drums"
after moving to tampa in 1978 he started taking drum lessons and whist learning the drums he was also playing foot ball and just about any other sport he could play where he learned what it meant to be apart of a team and went on to being a 2 time champion
after high school al perused his music career and after 20 years of playing drums he still is just as inspired and driven to create play and promote music. in his words, " music is my passion i don't have any interest in anything else"

Mike smith was born in seminole fl and moved to Newport richey he was five his eldest brother showed him judas priest where he discovered kk downing and glenn tipton and became fascinated with their play style after getting his first guitar at 16 he was immediately hooked 'for the first five years i was glued to my guitar and i loved every second of it"
during the time Mike was listening to eddie van halen marty friedman and zakk wylde, having an ear for great guitar players mike developed his own style that he tribute to his roots and his musical prowess comes from hard work lots of practice and the love of music "there is nothing id rather do"

brayden "Russell" bareford
Brayden was born and raised in the Tampa bay area and started playing music at 16. just shy of a decade and he has taken pride in the journey and devotion to music.brayden is a former music teacher he spends his time honing his craft and he has his hands in alot of the "behind the scenes" stuff for this band. He has built the website, he compose's the mailing list, and helps in video editing and social media side of things AKA Tech Support
for what he may lack in accolades he makes up for with a undying will to never give up and learning one show, one rehersal, one meeting at a time.
Brayden is an advid outdoorsmen, he loves spending time fishing hunting and enjoying what mother nature has to offer
"music has always been a factor in my life since birth i cant explain it but it has always been there, from when i was jamming out to Metallica as a little kid to attentively watching my dad play black sabbath riffs. i was blessed with parents who where really into all kinds of music for that i am grateful"
